Questions people actually ask

Do you work with organizations outside the Wichita, Kansas area?

Yes. Coaching and much of the workshop work happens virtually, and I travel for in-person engagements. Location shapes logistics, not whether this is a fit.

What's the difference between coaching, workshops, and recruiting?

Recruiting happens before someone's in the role. It's about hiring the right leader. Coaching is ongoing, 1:1 work with a leader who's already in the seat. Workshops are for a team or a group dealing with the same friction more than once. Most organizations end up using more than one.

We've tried leadership training before and it didn't stick. Why would this be different?

Most training starts with behavior (a new habit or script) and expects it to hold under the same pressure that broke the old behavior in the first place. This starts a layer deeper, with regulation before mindset, mindset before skillset. If someone's dysregulated, a better framework won't fix that. Addressing what's underneath first is what makes the rest actually stick.

What do you mean by "human skills" instead of "soft skills"?

Calling them "soft" makes these sound optional. They're not. Presence, trust, and the ability to stay steady with someone who's struggling are the things AI genuinely cannot do. That makes them more essentially human and more valuable, not less, as automation takes over everything else.

Do you do keynotes or speaking engagements?

Yes, on the same themes, leadership, distress versus character, and what AI can't replace. Get in touch with the details of the event and I'll tell you honestly whether it's a fit.

How quickly can we get started?

The first conversation usually happens within a few days of reaching out. What comes after that depends on what we're actually solving for.
