1:1 Leadership Coaching
1:1 Leadership Coaching is ongoing, individual work for a leader who needs to understand themselves better: how they communicate, what actually drives their stress response, and why the same conversations keep repeating. It starts with the person, not the job title.
Who this is for
A leader who looks fine from the outside and is quietly running on fumes. Someone having the same hard conversation over and over with no real change. Someone who's good at the job and still can't figure out why people keep leaving.
How it works
Most coaching jumps straight to behavior: a new habit, a new script, and wonders why it doesn't stick. It doesn't stick because a dysregulated person can't absorb a new skill, no matter how good it is. So we start with what's underneath, what's actually happening in your body and your week, before we get anywhere near a framework. Mindset before skillset was always true. Regulation comes before both.
What's included
- Regular 1:1 sessions, in person or virtual, built around what's actually going on that week
- No fixed curriculum handed down in advance. The work follows the person, not a syllabus
- Start with a single session, or choose a six-session engagement for more sustained development. Organizational coaching can support one leader or be distributed among multiple leaders and shaped around your needs, detailed on the pricing page
How to get started
The first conversation is just that, a conversation. No pitch, no assessment to fill out first. Tell me what's going on and we'll figure out from there whether this is the right fit.
Frequently asked questions
What does a session actually look like?
It starts with what's actually going on. Sleep, workload, the state you're in, before it gets anywhere near a framework or a new skill. Coaching a stressed-out nervous system into a new habit doesn't work, so that's not where we start.
How long does coaching usually last?
It varies by person and situation. Some leaders need a handful of sessions around one hard season. Others want an ongoing relationship. We figure that out together rather than locking into a fixed program up front.
Is this the same as therapy?
No. This is leadership development, not clinical treatment. It draws on real nervous-system science because pressure is physical before it's behavioral, but the goal is a steadier, more capable leader, not a diagnosis.
